MDA (4,4’-METHYLENE DIANILINE) also known as DDM（4, 4’—Diaminodiphenyl methane）.

Introduction MDA-100 is 99% 4,4'-diaminodiphenyl methane and a small amount of aromatic diamine derivatives of 2,4’-diaminodiphenyl methane. Molecular weight: 198.26 .Molecular formula: C13H14N2.MDA is an important chemical intermediate. In addition to being used in producing MDI and HMDI, it is widely used for polyimide, polyester-imine insulating varnish, polyimide resin, epoxy resin hardener, heat-resisting polymer, chain extender of polyurethane elastomer.Along with the applications is extended quickly, it can be applied in preparation of multifunctional epoxy resin, epoxy powder coating, etc. These materials made with MDA have excellent mechanical properties, electrical insulation, high temperature resistance, radiation resistance, and wear resistance.

StorageThese products must be stored in a dry storehouse with ventilation. Avoid exposure to light and heating to prevent oxidation. Protect product from leakage, rain or sun during transportation.

Shelf Life The shelf life is 6 months under normal storage conditions. Product stored past expiration may still be used if analysis so indicates.

Safety MDA is toxic and hazardous (UN2651). It is combustible. Fire may be fought with water, dry powder, carbon dioxide, or foam type fire extinguisher. This product may be absorbed through eye and skin. The symptoms include severe liver poisoning, fever, upper abdominal pain, jaundice, reduced appetite, kidney damage, and eye irritation.

Even under normal conditions, caution is necessary when handling it, to prevent it from contacting the skin and the eyes. Appropriate protective clothing such as gloves, protective goggles and a work suit should be worn. Splashes on the skin or in the eyes should be removed promptly with clean water. The eye should be flushed with water for 15 minutes and skin should be washed carefully with soap and water. For more information, please refer to MSDS.
